Dinner Dates are events with a meal, BBQ or buffet in a pub, restaurant or hotel where the men are asked to move after each course, and it’s lovely to dress up and enjoy the civilised conversation of like-minded single people.

The dinners and balls usually take place in a four star hotel and consist of a three course meal, a glass of wine and coffee followed by a disco until midnight or 1am. These events are highly sociable, brilliant fun and attract larger numbers of professional men and women of all age groups with anything from 70 to 350 attending. The company operating the event does the table plan and would usually sit guests in age groups. So, whether you are in your twenties or forties you would be sat with guests of your age group. For the Seasonal Balls and Dinner Disco’s we ask the ladies to wear cocktail or evening dress and the men to wear lounge or dinner suits. There are hosts to greet everyone and show them to the function room then if they have come alone they are introduced to others in the same situation. Everyone has a name place and on the reverse of each mans is a dance card for the men to ask the six ladies they meet whilst moving round the tables for a dance. These are sparkling affairs and enjoyed by all age groups because of the wonderful atmosphere, tasty food and excellent music. Many of the clients who choose these events meet the partner of their dreams at their first event and many make life long friends. Dress to impress with cocktail or evening cloths for ladies and dinner or lounge suits for men. Please do not turn up to these events under dressed. Jeans, trainers and leggings are not acceptable.

The Pub and Restaurant meals are for smaller numbers usually up to twenty offering a more intimate event where everyone just looks like a group of friends having a meal out together. The dress code is casual, but please remember the partner of your dreams could be there.

The buffets and BBQ’s attract anything from 20 to 200 depending on whether it is a Casino Night or a Party. Guests choose who they sit with and the company hosting the event would often organise some sort of ice breaker to start the guests socialising and mixing. These events are held in stylish bars or hotels so the dress code is dress to impress. Ladies in cocktail or evening wear and gentlemen in suits or jacket and trousers.

These are brilliant events to attend with groups of friends or alone as you are in a friendly hosted environment with other singles.
